The Wright Denton Opera House has been placed for sale.
The property has been listed on LoopNet.com for $2,699,000.
“Building began on this project in 1899 from the original bricks of the Denton County Courthouse and [was] fully finished in 1905,” the listing reads.
The building is anchored by Recycled Books Store which has been a tenant in the building since the 1980s.
Real T Team agent Jonathan King is handling the sale.
“We just placed it on the market yesterday,” King said.

The San Jacinto Plaza Shopping Center is now on the market.
The 61,853 square foot shopping center, anchored by separately-owned Burlington Coat Factory, sits on 6.89 acres of land and is located along Interstate 35 and San Jacinto Boulevard across from the Golden Triangle Mall, according to a property listing.
The plaza is 90.2 percent leased and it includes tenants such as Office Depot, the Ogle School, Mattress Firm, and others.
The space was originally built in 1935 as Mervyn’s Department Store.
Dallas-based Byrne Company listed the property on Tuesday.
Sale price has not been disclosed.
