October 27, 2008Featuring eight popular sandwiches for $5, the Subway on 1320 W. Hickory St. by Fry Street want to welcome their customers to their remodeled restaurant. The Subway closed last December and recently reopened on October 4. "It looks like a brand new restaurant," she said. When the Hickory location closed, Jones and her staff of 11 employees opened another Subway on Eagle Drive. They ran it until the Hickory shop completed its renovation. Jones said the Eagle Drive location is still open but now has a new manager. The remodeled Subway now features two lines instead of one, where customers can place their orders. Our Denton’s Best for the past two years for affordable dining and just great pizzas changed its name to Fera's last November 1st. According to Brenda Gordon, manager of the restaurant located on Oak Street, the name happened when they bought out their partner last year. “Everything is still the same if not better,” Gordon said.
