The Denton Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will host the 14th Annual Demin & Diamonds Gala on Friday, Oct. 9 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Moved from the Spring, this year's membership appreciation and award gala will be held at the Center for the Visual Arts located at 400 East Hickory Street in Denton. A social and dinner will be hosted by Jimmy Meredith of Sweetwater's Bar & Grill starting at 6 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Marquez beginning 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $40 per person, $70 for couples and $300 for a table of eight.
