We learned McAlister's Deli declared July 23 as "Free Tea Day," in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area. Customers are asked to visit any location to get a free, 32 oz. cup of McAllister's Sweet Tea. No purchase is necessary. "'Free Tea Day' has become even more exciting due to the overwhelming interest the public has shown," said Matt Saxton, spokesperson for Saxton Pierce Restaurant Corp., the franchisee for McAlister's Deli via a press release. "We're glad to share our famous sweet tea with them for an entire day, free of charge." The company not only wants to promote their sweet tea, but also gives back to loyal customers; often refer to themselves as "Tea Freaks." McAlister's counts with locations 10 locations in the Metroplex including one in Denton at 1931 South Loop 288, Ste. 100. Their phone number is 940-320-7722. E-mail entry: |
