Wazoos', the inflatable center in Argyle, closed its doors earlier this month after being in business for about a year. Owner Leslie Manuel said she closed because of the high cost and rent. Business had slowed down the past couple of months because of the economic conditions. The inflatable center opened last January. Manuel continues working as a nurse during the weekends at the Medical Center of Arlington. "Until the economy gets better I don't think anyone is going to be okay," Manuel said. Manuel is currently enjoying her weekdays which allow her to spend more time with her daughter Karley. E-mail entry: |
