The Beige Book came out this afternoon. The Federal Reserve District report focusing on current economic conditions continued to describe the economy for the 11th District as weak in October and in the first half of November. According to the report, District 11, which includes the Dallas/Fort Worth area, had been impacted by the weakness of the national economy and the credit market crisis. "Almost all respondents voiced concern about the near-term outlook with expectations of improvement ranging from about four to twelve months away," according to the report.
