Lone Star Attitude coming to the Denton Square

The old Denton Independent Hamburger Co. at the Downtown Square has been transforming itself into a new business.

It will soon be known as Lone Star Attitude, and it will be a hamburger concept, offering live music, said Julie Glover, the city’s economic development program administrator back onApril 8.

In May, it was announced via We Denton Do It blog that the head chef from Fireside Pies and Hibiscus was the one crafting the burger concept.

Glover said in an email July 12 that Lone Star Attitude would bring something different to downtown, since it will include the city’s first rooftop bar.

“I think the business concept is great and this will become a downtown destination,” she wrote.

According to city records, the contractor on the project is Tim Beaty. Permits show the project will include an exterior staircase.

Lone Star Attitude will be located at 113 W. Hickory Street between The Courthouse Collection and Mad World Records.
